Now you can track and map your hot air balloon trips using your phone. Run this application the next time you take to the air so you can see where you traveled, your altitude and how fast you were moving. After the trip is done, you can view an animated map showing your course. All trips are saved so you can view a map showing different locations you have flown. The application has two different modes. There is a precision mode and a battery save mode. The precision mode has a higher sampling rate for better accuracy, but uses more battery power. Precision mode has a 90 minute time limit. Battery save mode has a 4 hour time limit. Note: Continued use of location services can dramatically impact battery life. This is the reason that the application has built-in time limits. Make sure battery is fully charged before you start recording a trip. You will want to monitor available battery power while using this application to insure you do not run down the battery. You should stop running if you notice battery level is low.
Requires iOS 5.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
