Well... I'm in America... and everything is just weird.

1st, the toilets suck arse. You wouldn't want to be standing too close when the automatic ones go off, cause there's splashback!!! They're also so shallow that you gotta keep you hands real close or you're gonna dip in the bowl. It's so disgusting!

2ndly, the food is weird. Nothing tastes like I'm used to, though I can say I have now tried a New York Pizza (not the really big ones though - the oldies wouldn't allow it), a bagel, and buffalo wings. Even Subway over here tastes weird. Wendy's is a burger joint attached to a lot of the servo's and petrol is so cheap - it's only about 90 c / ltr.

3rdly, everyone in the big cities are so impatient and rude. Oh and I dunno whether it was just the part of town we were in, but sometimes I swear we were the only white fellas. It was weird. Esp in LA. Everyone was staring at us on the busses cause we were the only white people around for miles!

Dad's getting used to driving on the wrong side of the road, and we're both getting used to following Tom (our GPS). Tom sometimes has a go at us for making wrong turns (told us to "chuck a 'uey'") but we eventually get to where we wanna go.

We started off in LA before we flew to NY to pick up Candy, and then we drove the motorhome to Binghamton in NY state and stayed there the night at a servo cause we couldn't get into the RV park. We then drove to Niagra and saw the falls and stayed there the night. After that we were running behind schedule (cause google maps told us the wrong distances and times and we've had to adjust everything we're doing), but we made it to Washington DC. I've taken like a gazzillion photos so far, and we still have like 3 weeks to go! Tonight we're staying in Kingsport in Tennessee, and then we're heading to Nashville and Memphis in the next 2 days.

This country can only get better right?????

Thank you everyone to came along and wished me happy birthday (even though it's not until Monday).

I'm not really looking forward to turning 30. I've always thought of 30 as when you start to get old. I certainly don't act all of my 30 years of age though, so hopefully that will keep me young at heart.

Anyways. I'm sleepy and wanna play RockBand. :)

It's my stupid party and I don't even have a stupid costume yet!!!!
