I have two stories in the master list for H/D Bookshelf's most-read, recent Harry/Draco fics! That's pretty thrilling because, let's face it, I haven't written that many. :) Anyhow, Stories from America and World on Fire are both on the long list.

Mostly, what this long list tells me is that there are a lot of good stories out there that I still need to read. For the record, anything by saras_girl is amazing and you should go to her LJ page immediately and read all of it. :)

I wrote for the H/D Beltane exchange, too, but the reveals list isn't up, so I can't say which one. I'm in Smoochfest, too--so it isn't (quite) that I haven't been writing, just that I've written stories that are still "Anonymous". But not writing factors in, too... busy few months.

Once the reveals list goes up, I'll post a link to the Beltane one.

The reveal for the HP Holidays Exchange is up, so now I can link to the story I wrote. :)

It's Harry/Bill, not a usual pairing for me, but it was interesting to think how it might have played out. The prompt gives away a lot about the story, so if you want to be surprised, avoid reading the prompt.

Tomorrow my new story is scheduled to be posted up at harrypotterbang . It's the first one in a while that wasn't written for a prompt. It's meant to be Harry/Draco, but ends up being mostly Harry/Draco with established Draco/Charlie. It's a little sad, but I don't think the sad bits are the focus. Mostly I'm looking forward to seeing the art that Cate is doing for it--it'll be brand new to me. :)

Someone also picked one of my stories (The Cuckoo's Egg in the Blithering Humdinger Nest) for the hp_art_tales . Since I love HP art, and couldn't draw a stick figure to save my life, I was thrilled. You can see the art here, and find my story here. It's interesting, seeing that scene through someone else's eyes--different choreography than the way I pictured it. I think I might like her version better. ;) 

(I'm working on a story for Art Tales, based on an art prompt that I absolutely love, but it'll be a long time before I have anything ready to post there.)

Nothing new to post right now, though. For anyone who's waiting on WIP's, I'm very, very sorry. I haven't had a lot of time for fanfic, and what little I have had was taken up with fests and things with deadlines. I have been working on the vampire-Cedric story again, though, so you can expect an update on that in the next week or two. I feel mean for dragging it out so long, so this time I don't think I'll post until I can post the whole thing.
