This is pretty kewl!! I can't wait for Tuesday!!!

So I missed my LJ's seventh birthday last month and today makes it seven years, one month and two days old. That's crazy to think. I can't believe it'd been that long since I started this journal. I used to write in it pratically everyday, multiple times a day. I don't write as often anymore, atleast not like I used to, but I think that's cause I'm always logged into one of my journals for my RP. lol.

Over the past seven years I've met some really amazing people, who have become some of my closest friends, Lauren, Grace, Christina, Lindsay, Erin, Ashley, Brit, the rest of the SoC gang and so many more. I've met some of you in person and had some really awesome vacations that I wouldn't have had, had it not been for meeting you through LJ.

I can't wait for October cause I get to see Lauren again at the Supernatural Convention and I really wanna go to PA again to see Christina, Grace and Lindsay. And there are still so many of you want I'd love to meet someday.

I also can't believe I've had a paid account for seven years. O.o Speaking of which, I have to renew my extra pics.

I'm pretty much done with my Christmas shopping. I just have to get one more thing for Kay and wait for the last things I ordered from Amazon to arrive, which they should on Monday. Yay!

I have to go in to Boston tomorrow to mail my Christmas cards. I was going to do it here today, but didn't get out of work till three cause Nadia thought she was short $900 and she was looking for it and I had to have an audit because of it and finally I suggested she count the hundreds she sold to the vault cause she'd found an extra hundred in a strap and they were brand new ones so they stick together. So she had sold $500 to the vault and we both double counted them and we find $900 extra dollars there. They were all stuck together since they were new. So We closed at one and didn't leave till three and the post office closes at two thirty. >_< So I have to go in to Boston tomorrow before I go to Vanessa's.

Going to Vanessa's tomorrow to hang out and give her and the kids their presents. ^_^ Also supposed to be making dinner if I get to the store between going to Boston and going to her house. I should be able to get to the store. Also depends on how much snow there is. Hopefully it stops in the morning like they're saying.

I can't believe Christmas is this week. O.o Where did the time go? I have a pretty good scheduale this week. I work Mon and Tues 8 - 5 then I'm off Wed cause I worked today, working Thurs till three, but still getting paid till six then Fri off and the weekend off. Wooo!!

Getting together with Kay and Eric on Sat for gift exchanges. And hoping to get together with Ashley before she leaves for Italy on the 6th.

So today was a very long day! It all started when I woke up at 7:55, thinking I had to be at work at eight. Luckily I only live about ten minutes from my work, but I rushed out of the house only to find out that I was supposed to be at work at nine. >_< Yeah, I'm not too bright.

Did the majority of my Christmas shopping this weekend. I need to finish Jess, our parents and our brothers as well as Kay and Eric and then I'll be done. ^_^

Going to the Celtics games tomorrow night with the whole fam. lol.

Can't wait for Christmas Day cause me, my mom and probably Jess are gonna go see Sherlock Holmes. I can't wait to see that.

Gonna try to get HBP tomorrow after work and before the game.

Blah, I should get to bed. Hope work goes by fast tomorrow.

New temporary layout since my last one went wonky. It's it cute?

I really can't wait for next year. Two of my vacations are a definate. I already mentioned Florida in August with Jess, Vanessa and the kids, which I'm wicked excited for. I love Disneyworld so much!

My next definate vaca is the SALUTE TO SUPERNATURAL Convention in Chicago next October with Lauren! I'm wicked excited for that too. So far Jared Padalecki and the Ghost Facers are confirmed and we bought our photo-op tickets for Jared. We got the gold package so we'll be able to go to the cocktail party and breakfast thing, plus a bunch of other stuff. I can't wait.

Arkansas is pretty much a definate too, I just haven't booked anything for it yet like I have the other two. And I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that I get to go to Pennsylvania too.

So I went and saw New Moon last Sunday with Vanessa, Caitlin and Eryn. It was somewhat better than Twilight. Still full of crack. Still wanted to kill Bella throughout most of it; especially when she was screaming in her sleep. >_< Why couldn't Charlie have just put a pillow over her face? Everyone in the theater yelled and whistled everytime Jacob was on screen. lol. February better come fast so Taylor can turn 18 and I won't have to feel bad about liking him. The makeup for the vampires was somewhat better. Didn't look quite as white as the first one. Rosalie's wig was still awful! I have to see it again cause since we had been up all night Saturday night I fell asleep in the middle and missed everything with Laurent, Victoria and the cliff diving. Oh dear god, Alice's vision of Edward and Bella at the end....I honestly thought I had fallen asleep again and was dreaming that. Then I realized it was actually part of the movie and was like O.o

HBP comes out on dvd on the 8th!! Can't wait! I found out that the second part of Deathly Hallows was moved to June of 2011. That's like seven months between part one and two. Why?! Why must they make us wait so long?!

So I wasn't really going to say anything here about Adam Lambert's performance on the AMAs the other night because anyone who I would have wanted to talk about it to, I've already done it, but this whole GMA bs has me wanting to say something. So this is about Adam and double standards.

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't see what the big deal was. Is it just because it was on ABC? If he had done this same performance on MTV would there be such an uproar? If he did the same performance on tour, would it be so talked about? I doubt it. I saw pix from one of Lady GaGa's performances last year and she had a backup dancer's head in her crotch, but no one talked about it endlessly. Madonna can kiss Britney and Christina and nothing happens. But it's such a controversy and so offensive when Adam does it. I for one wasn't really shocked at all by anything he did. I assumed he was going to do something sexual. Anyone who knows who he is/is a fan should know that he likes to shock and entertain. And yeah, ok he didn't do exactly what he did on the show in the rehersals, but GMAs response, saying they don't feel a repeat performance would be appropriate for the show is bs. I highly doubt he was going to do the same thing on GMA. ABC is just trying to cover their asses now. I can't wait to see him tomorrow on The Early Show. I wanna see what he's got to say about this.

I agree with him when he says there's a double standard when it comes to female vs male performers. Female performers can dance around on stage in next to nothing and be as sexual as they want, but it's a huge deal when a guy does something like that. Not to mention Adam was the most dressed out of most of the performers.

The double standard thing has been bothering me for a little while actually before this. I really started to notice it when Miley Cyrus started her current tour. How come she gets all this shit for performing in short shorts at almost 17, but Taylor Lautner, who is also 17 can run around in New Moon in mostly just a pair of shorts and no one mentions the fact that he's 17? They're the same age, Taylor is showing more skin than Miley, but Miley is the one who gets the shit.

Miley isn't doing anything that Britney or Christina didn't do at her age. Hell, at 17 Britney had already posed in her underwear on Rolling Stone. So I don't see why she gets so much flack. Nor, do I see why Adam is getting so much flack. If it has to do with the kids who were watching the AMAs, kids shouldn't be up at almost eleven on a Sunday night anyway. My brothers are 15, almost 16 and they were in bed at nine that night. So really that's the parents' fault for letting their kids stay up at late.

Wow, so it's been awhile since I've made a post and really not that much has happened since the last time.

A few weeks ago I had walked to work and had to pay my Dress Barn bill after work so on my way home I decided to just walk to Dress Barn. I haven't walked all the way to and from there since I left. It felt so surreal to be honest. Like I wouldn't have thought just walking would, but I felt so nostalgic. When I left I felt like it was 2007 again and I was just reminded of all the phone/txt convos I had with Lauren and Grace all those nights that I walked home from work. 2007 really was a good year.

Halloween was good. Jess and I went to Salem and hung out with Kevin and Joey. I love going to Salem for Halloween. It's so much fun to see all the costumes.

We've booked our trip to Floria for next Aug. It'll be Me, Jess, Vanessa and her kids. I can't wait. It's gonna be so much fun. That's one 2010 vacation planned. I can't wait!

Tomorrow Jess and I are going to see Miley Cyrus. lol. Yeah, you read that right. Then Tuesday night me, Jess, Vanessa and Anthony are gonna go to the Bruins/Pens game. Out of the four of us Anthony is the only one who has been to a hockey game before so it'll be fun.
