AxProtector by Wibu-Systems AG is an automated application protection and licensing tool that safeguards software against piracy, tampering, and reverse engineering. As part of the CodeMeter Protection Suite, it encrypts executables and libraries and links them to secure licenses managed by CodeMeter, typically with little or no changes to source code. AxProtector supports native, .NET, and Java applications on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and offers defenses such as integrity checks and anti-debugging. Licenses can be delivered via secure hardware (CmDongle), software-based activation (CmActLicense), or network licenses, with online or offline deployment through CodeMeter License Central.
