Hi!
I’m Ronja, and I make games. Since 2023 I’ve been developing games in Unity; though I’ve made games for as long as I can remember in everything from Game Maker Studio 2, the Warcraft 3 Map Editor, and Microsoft Excel.
Here’s a showcase of some of the stuff I’ve been up to!
Rated top #2 in the JamSepticEye Game Jam of 2025, and featured in the Ten Deadly Games collection on Steam; Hoping for a Home follows the journey of Gabbo, a lonely goblin who tries to find shelter for the night in a hostile human town.
We are currently working on a full version of the game, tentatively planned to release late spring 2026. Drop a follow to catch the updates!
By far my most ambitious (and perhaps foolhardy) project. Sector Terra is a love-letter to the RTS classics of my childhood; Warcraft, Command & Conquer, and Starcraft. Development began in mid-2023 when I still only had one finished Unity game under my belt. By now it has a 7-mission campaign featuring a varied selection of units, specialized extra abilities, and customizable heroes. Oh, also nukes, because an RTS isn't complete without them.
Since 2023 my friend Lex and I have participated in the annual GMTK Game Jam. With me focusing on programming and Lex handling level design, we have somehow developed four games from start to finish in just a few days. Each of these games hold a special place in my heart (mainly from the cardiac stress of making a game in 96 hours), though to me they truly shine when taken together, since each of them represent a cross-section of my abilities as a game developer at the time.
