Our 30-Day Return Policy

Every product purchased directly from AutoSkyUS.com is covered by our 30-day return policy. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Eligibility: Any AutoSky product purchased in the last 30 days from AutoSkyUS.com
  • Condition: Product must be in its original packaging and in resellable condition (lightly used is okay — we understand you need to test if it works with your car)
  • Return shipping: Free by mail — we cover the cost
  • Refund: Issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and verify the return
  • Processing time: Please allow us 2–5 business days to verify the returned product before the refund is issued

How to Request a Return

Starting a return is quick. Pick whichever method is easiest for you:

  1. Option A — Chat: Open our Help Center Chat, let us know you’d like to return an order, and include your order number. Our U.S.-based team replies fast.
  2. Option B — Email: Send an email to support@autoskyus.com with your order number, the item(s) you’re returning, and the reason (helps us improve).
  3. Option C — Phone: Call us at +1 (628) 285-5181, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central Time.
  4. We’ll send a prepaid return label by email. Print it, attach it to the original packaging, and drop the package at any USPS or authorized carrier location.
  5. Refund is processed within 5–10 business days after we receive and verify the return.

What Products Are Returnable?

Nearly everything sold at AutoSkyUS.com is covered by the 30-day return policy, including:

  • Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Adapters
  • AI Boxes
  • 4G LTE GPS Trackers (hardware — subscription fees are handled separately, see below)
  • Dash Cams
  • Backup Cameras
  • Consumer Products & Accessories
  • Pet training devices
Non-returnable items: Products that have been physically damaged beyond normal testing, or items missing original accessories (cables, mounting hardware, packaging) may be eligible for a partial refund only. Digital content and activated GPS tracker subscriptions are non-refundable.

Refund Timing

After we receive your returned package:

  1. Verification: 2–5 business days for our team to inspect and confirm the return meets policy.
  2. Refund issued: Within 1 business day of verification, we issue the refund to your original payment method.
  3. Payment processor: Your bank or card issuer typically posts the refund within 3–5 additional business days.

In total, expect 5–10 business days from the day we receive your return to seeing the refund in your account.

Exchanges

If you’d like to exchange an AutoSky product for a different model (for example, swapping a standard Wireless CarPlay Adapter for an AI Box Lite Plus 2.0), we’ll help you make it easy:

  1. Contact support and let us know what you have and what you want instead.
  2. We’ll issue a return label for the original product and send you the replacement.
  3. If there’s a price difference, we’ll either refund the excess or send a payment link for the difference.

Warranty Claims

Outside the 30-day return window, AutoSky products are covered by our standard product warranty for manufacturing defects. If your product fails within the warranty period, file a warranty claim:

Products Purchased Elsewhere

If you bought your AutoSky product through Amazon, Walmart, or another retailer, follow that retailer’s return policy — we don’t process returns for orders placed outside AutoSkyUS.com. For warranty claims on products bought elsewhere, contact our support team and we’ll help you.

GPS Tracker Subscriptions

AutoSky 4G LTE GPS trackers require a cellular data subscription (plans start at $8.99/month). Subscription fees are billed separately from the tracker hardware.

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once the plan has been activated.
  • You can cancel future billing at any time through the AutoSky+ app or by contacting support.
  • If you return the tracker hardware within the 30-day return window, the hardware is refunded in full — but any subscription already activated remains non-refundable.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. AutoSky covers return shipping costs for every return within the 30-day window. We’ll email you a prepaid return label.

Can I return a product I opened?

Yes. We understand you need to test an adapter, AI box, or GPS tracker with your actual car to know if it works. Open-box returns are accepted as long as the product is in resellable condition with all original packaging and accessories.

What if I bought AutoSky on Amazon or Walmart?

Returns for orders placed on Amazon or Walmart follow those retailers’ return policies. For warranty claims on products bought there, contact our support team — we’ll help you process the warranty directly.

How long until I get my refund?

Expect 5–10 business days from the date we receive your return. That’s 2–5 days for our team to verify the return, plus 3–5 additional days for your bank to process the refund to your original payment method.

Can I get a refund instead of an exchange?

Yes. You can always choose a refund instead of an exchange. Just let us know in the return request.

Is there a restocking fee?

No. AutoSky does not charge a restocking fee on standard returns within the 30-day window.
