About

I grew up reading more manga than novels, beginning with Sailor Moon. My fifth grade teacher once told me I had to stop picking Sailor Moon chapter books for my reading assignments, and ten-year-old me wasn’t too happy about that.

Once I entered middle school, I started dreaming up my own stories and turning them into written words. Believe it or not (and may I shamefully admit), it wasn’t until college that I actually discovered my love for books that didn’t have illustrations in them. Since then, I’ve been an avid reader of YA and spend way too much time getting lost in other people’s imagination.

Now I write young adult fiction and am represented by Lynnette Novak from The Seymour Agency.
