Sean Sherman (The Sioux Chef / NATIFS.org / Owamni) 3X James Beard Winner, Time Mag 100 Most Influential, Julia Child Award, Elevate Prize Winner. Author, Speaker, Chef, Activist, Artist, loves @Meccabos + Humanity, dislikes Fascists + Racists.
Started following Sean Sherman a decade ago for his cooking info, but his social commentary is spot on as well. I'm sure if I mentioned him to my Até, he'd have said, "He's your cousin"—a running joke among Indigenous folks—but my Até would follow with who was whose kid and who married who and after 20 minutes, we'd actually be cousins. My Até walked on in 2019, so I can't ask, but even if we aren't cousins, The Sioux Chef has things to say a lot of people need to hear—and he's a good cook.
Thank you for choosing to be part of this journey. Your support means more than a donation—it’s an echo of belief in the stories still waiting to be heard.
