Challenge: 100 Favourite "Detective Conan" moments
Episode: 001

Yes, the first moment I want to blog about is from the very first episode, "Roller Coaster Murder Case". I'm pretty sure that those who have heard of "Detective Conan" know this scene, because it's mandatory for the course of the series. Even if people don't know what the scene looks like, they at least know that it happened. Yes, I'm talking about the scene in which Shin'ichi is forced to take the APTX 4869 and wakes up, thinking "The drug doesn't work on humans!", only to find out that his body shrunk. His reaction when he's called "little boy" by one of the policemen (in episode 2) is also interesting. I've only seen the German dub, but he's totally like "Is that man nuts? I'm in High School goddamn it!"
What would this series be without this scene? "Detective Shin'ichi"? It's safe to say that "Detective Conan" wouldn't be as popular ;) this is underlined by Conan's immense popularity - and with this I mean the character. As far as I know, Conan became a popular figure in Japan and appeared in several different media. I've never been to Japan, so I can't say how strong his presence is, but if I get the chance to travel to Japan next year, I will keep my eyes open for Conan, that's for sure.
And that's all I guess.
