Requirements

  • Start and complete your hack during the 24 hours of AthenaHacks starting Saturday, March 28th and ending Sunday, March 29th
  • Make sure to create a DevPost profile for your hack and submit by 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 29th
  • Be sure to "opt-in" for the prizes your hack qualifies for
  • Include screenshots, pictures, and/or videos of your hack in your Devpost submission 
  • Include all team discord usernames in the event that a sponsor wants to ask any follow-up questions
  • Judging will be held only in-person; however, every project must have a Devpost submitted. You can include lots of pictures, explanations, and screen records in your submission and mention anything you would say at an in-person demonstration in your submission! However, you must be physically present at the judging period on Sunday afternoon to be eligible for prizes.

    Is this a product that people will use in their daily lives? Will it improve the user’s quality of life or solve an important issue?
  • Innovation & Creativity
    Is this project unique and innovative? Is it a solution to a problem we have never seen before? Or a better way of doing something?
  • Technical Difficulty
    How difficult was it to implement this project? Are there lots of APIs and libraries and languages involved? Did they use a really cool algorithm?
  • User Experience and Design
    Is the hack polished? Does the project looks as great as it functions? Is it easy to use and navigate?
  • Overall Impression
    Can this hack succeed? Is it well thought out and executed? Does it stand out?
