KA220-YOU Cooperation partnerships in youth

The EU-funded project AdventurAction aims to offer new career paths to student-athletes, former young athletes, and young athletes by providing them with the necessary skills to become adventure tour guides. AdventurAction seeks to ensure that this training is accessible to all, including athletes with disabilities and individuals from rural areas. Additionally, the project endeavors to raise awareness about environmental and social sustainability issues.


Key Features of the Project:

  • Tailored Training: The project offers specialized training tailored to the needs of student-athletes, former young athletes, and young athletes aspiring to become adventure tour guides.
  • Virtual Theoretical Training: Participants engage in virtual theoretical training sessions covering various aspects of adventure tourism practices in both mountainous and coastal areas.
  • Practical Application: Practical application of acquired knowledge is facilitated through real-life scenarios, including excursions and field experiences.
  • Online Educational Toolkit: An online educational toolkit will be developed to provide ongoing support and resources for trainees, enhancing their learning experience.
  • Dissemination and Communication: The project will conduct comprehensive dissemination and communication campaigns to engage target groups, interested parties, and stakeholders.
  • Environmental Awareness: By raising awareness about environmental and social sustainability issues, the project fosters a greater understanding of the importance of responsible tourism practices.
  • Long-Term Impact: The project aims to achieve lasting impacts on participants and organizations, contributing to positive community transformation and sustainable development in the adventure tourism industry.
