June 27th, 2019- PSPG members host a watch party in the basement of Fuel and Fuddle during the first round of the Democratic Presidential Debates.
 
April 24, 2019- Members of PSPG and BGSA visit Northside Catholic Assumption Academy to teach 7th graders about how scientists use DNA extraction in research and attempt to extract DNA from different fruits.

December 7th, 2018- Members of the Pitt Science Policy Group and the BGSA visit students at the Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School for a science lesson on non-newtonian fluids.

November 1st, 2018- PSPG helped inform Pittsburgh voters about local candidates prior to casting  through their ballots through a “Midterms Crash Course Event”. The event also featured Pittsburgh Post Gazette political reporter Julian Routh, to provide necessary background on the stakes of the election
