Shit like this pisses me off

Here's a link to a story that happened within an hour of my house.

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/news/cityregion/s_618263.html

It happened about a month ago. Apparently it received nationwide coverage. There was an argument between people around here whether he should be trialed as an adult or juvenile. I also heard people saying "Oh, he's only 11 years old. He didn't understand the repercusions of what would happen to him."

Ok. First of all he is 11 years old and is a licensed junior hunter in PA. They make hunters take gun safety courses. He put the gun TO HER HEAD. He KNEW what he was doing. He wasn't aiming to HURT her, he was aiming to KILL her. Don't feed me this bullshit. The lady that was shot was supposed to be his new stepmom, and she was pregnant. Now tell me this kid wasn't CRAZY JEALOUS over the new baby and new stepmom. Obviously they were getting more attention that he was from his dad, so the little psycho figured, ok, I'll kill them. That will solve my problems.

Lock him up for the rest of his life. Better yet... kill his ass so I don't have to pay taxes to have his sorry ass rot in jail for the rest of his sorry ass life. I have no sympathy. NONE.

Writer's Block: Morning Decisions

The eternal breakfast dilemma: Sweet or savory?

Depends on my mood. Lately I've been having an obsession with cereal. I don't know what it is, but a nice sweet bowl of Maple Cinnamon Life cereal with cold milk... mmm a way to start off a day right...

However when I go to Cracker Barrel I love some biscuits with sausage gravy and ham, and apple cider to drink of course. Yummmmmmmm
Now I'm hungry damnit

One more stupid misc. question...

Who else loves fall just because of pumpkin flavored EVERYTHING???

I LOVE pumpkin...
candles, pie, coffee, bread... anything...

Long live the pumpkin.

school is cool

I decided to go back for my master's degree. I'm back to Cal for Reading Specialist. I have classes M, T, and W. The teacher that I have for Wed. night is AWESOME. She just has the same beliefs about education that I do. It was like she was inside my brain and saying what I would have if I had been up there. She's also hilarious and makes the time fly (which is great when you have 3 hour classes).

I'm also substituting again now that school has started. I went yesterday for Kindergarten. Luckily this one kid wasn't in my room, because I had heard the principal took him home early because of his behavior the day before. When they got out of the car he tried to throw a brick at the principal's back. Wow... a 5 years old! I feel horrible for that child, because it's either his home life or something is just mentally wrong. I'd be willing to put my money on home life.

OK, I have no idea how to describe this song to you all... because I have absolutely no clue who does it or anything.

Its more of a dancey rap song. It would be good for break dancing....
It starts out with a little humming mumbling kinda thing like mmm da da mmm da da (over and over again)
And then they just keep saying shut up shut up shut up

I know that is so vague, but I really don't have much more to go on. I know the dance team at my university used it for a dance last year, but yeah... that doesn't help you all.

I just want this song so bad, but have no clue how to even search for it.... so I'm hoping someone will have a clue of what I'm talking about.....
I thought this was pretty sweet.

A honor society that I am in had a service project that we did involving making pet baskets.
Here is a little write up on the website.

Awwww, I love Dane Cook. He's one of my favorite comedians.
I just got the new cd/dvd... he's soooo funny.

Not since the classic Steve Martin album "A Wild and Crazy Guy" reached No. 2 in 1979 has The Billboard 200 seen a comedy disc break the top 5. That all changes this week as Dane Cook's "Retaliation" bows at No. 4 to become the highest-charting comedy effort in 26 years. The position and first week sales of 86,000 copies are especially impressive feats for Cook, whose first set, "Harmful if Swallowed," never made it to the big chart and sold just 3,000 copies in its debut week in 2003; it has moved 300,000 to date.

The plan? Let's take this sucker to the top! If you have not bought RETALIATION yet go out and grab it. Let's make history together again next week! Imagine if we moved UP the charts?

New Icon

Is this not the coolest icon ever? It's so pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
