The ARU Library and Community Resource Centre (LCRC) holds print, audio, visual, and electronic information resources in an environment designed for active learning and community research.
We are a member of the Uganda University Library Network and the Consortium of Uganda University Libraries (CUUL), and we serve students, staff, and community members from across Bunyoro and beyond.

Borrow and renew library materials as a registered user. Non-members may borrow via letter of recommendation from other university librarians.

Computer workstations with internet access and free campus WiFi for users with personal devices. Get assisted with ICT tools for learning and research.

Membership Information
All university staff, students, and members of the public are welcome to use the library.
Who Can Join?
All members of the University Council, academic and administrative staff, and registered students are entitled to full library membership. Members of the public are also authorised to use the library, provided they respect library regulations.
All members have the right to borrow materials once registered as ordinary library users. Non-ordinary users may borrow through a letter of recommendation from their institution’s librarian.
