11:13 pm - Shockhorror - a post! Yeah, I know, I'm a terrible blogger. I have woefully neglected my livejournal of late, however now I've linked it to my facebook maybe I'll be better at updating :)

06:50 pm - Check your friendslists I seem to have been friended today, along with a fair few others in my friendslist, by bnrecad_scheer. Does anyone have idea who this russian posting person is before I go off and add them to my banned users list?

08:29 am - The "Three Things" Meme As seen posted already by just about half my friends list :-)
Post 3 things you've done in your lifetime that you don't think anybody else on your friends list has done. See if anybody else responds with "I've done that." Ask your friends do this in their journals to see what unique things they've done.
1) Sung as a part of a youth choir in the Albert Hall 2) Broken a wrist swimming, had it set without anaesthetic, and then had it reset on my return to the UK 3) Adapted a book into a play, set up a theatre company to perform it, and then directed and produced it

10:44 am - Screen Death My TFT died yesterday (the "pre dying flicker" is probably what caused me to get a headache Sunday evening). So, new monitor needed. I have a choice (for the same price) and am wondering what the pros and cons are of 17" "standard 4:3 ratio" vs 17" widescreen. I need to know which one of the two to buy by lunchtime today. So, friendslist, if it were your choice which would you go for? The "4:3" or the "widescreen"?
Please note that if caerleon replies I may take his recommendation above everyone else's :-)
[Edit: I *could* just about stretch to this one... 19" widescreen, for £10 more than the two 17" screens are... hmmm...]

10:52 am - General post for casual browsers This journal is entirely friends only. If you are not listed as a friend and wish to read this journal then you will need to convince me that I know you or that there is a really good reason for adding you before you are added to the friendslist.
