Great little tutorial here on how to draw tricorner hats from all different angles. Not that I've had to draw thousands in the past; but when I DO suddenly find myself faced with drawing one, it generally ends up being "ZOMG WHAT IS THIS HOW DO I EVEN"

Our dearly loved mod fiendling has passed the Modly reins to new management: mieronna and glockgal! We are the new Mods for artbeta, and as such, we've made a few changes. Here's the rundown:
All previous members are still members! By now you might have seen our new joining request form. If you are already a member of artbeta, you DO NOT need to fill it our again.
New FAQ! Read it in all its glory HERE as a post if you have questions. We even have posting guidelines; but us being a group of artists, we're not exactly sticklers. :D
More art! We've opened the community up not just to all fandoms, but also to original art!
New tagging system! Still in the works, but if you take a look at our preliminary tags, you'll get an idea of how we'd like your posts to be tagged. Some examples:

What is artbeta? Here is our FAQ. In short, if you are an artist, you may post your works in progress here to be beta'd by peers! The community is closed and friends locked to make sure the works of art aren't spoiled to the masses. Only artists may join and must be 16 years or older.

Ok, so I'm about 2 hours into this John/Rodney painting, and I know the anatomy is off in Rodney's face and John's hands (which are shapeless blobs right now. His left is suposed to be resting on his hip, and his right just barely cupping Rodney's face).
Anybody out there with a happy red pen want to scribble on this?

This is the first piece I've done since I was told I don't have carpel tunnel, so I'm a bit rusty. On the other hand, maybe I've shaken some bad habits?
