Strategizing like a CEO: Adopting the Top Management Perspective
What separates those who succeed as CEOs from the rest? While hard work, talent and operational expertise are important, the difference lies in their ability to see the big strategic picture. Successful top leaders are able to assess entire, interconnect system makes your business run. They don’t just know marketing or sales or operations or managing people or customer experience. They understand how all the parts interact to create a thriving, resilient strategic ecosystem.
In this interactive session, you’ll begin assembling this thinking model yourself. You’ll practice taking a broad view—the kind that allows you to spot the connections and spot opportunities others overlook.
At the heart of this session is a simple but powerful tool: the 9Ps Framework, designed to help you start thinking like a CEO—consciously and intentionally. It enables you to assess the health of your business, pinpoint the strategic focal points, identify the highest-leverage areas for growth, and design initiatives that help your organization accelerate its bath to realizing its long-term goals. Over time, this way of thinking will become second nature.
Through a mix of case discussion, peer collaboration, and direct application to your own business, you’ll walk away with a strategic snapshot of your company and a list of smart, practical moves to take back with you. Ultimately, the goal is that you and your company will accelerate its path to success.
