Easter Read, Learn, Grow

Join us for a special Easter edition of our Read, Learn, Grow story time.  Participants will get to listen to a Christian based Easter story, enjoy a CANDY FREE egg hunt, and hop through our obstacle course.
 
From 9am-11:45am we will have groups of 30 participants start the program every fifteen minutes. Cost is $6 per child.
 
The event was created with ages 2-6 in mind.

We’re Back! Wednesday Mornings in the Summer

What is it?

An interactive story time on the farm!  Each week has a different theme where participants get to engage in a story, play an interactive game and take a tractor ride to the orchard for a hands-on activity with Farmer Steve. 

What ages is it for?

The program is designed with preschool aged children in mind, though all are welcome.

What are the dates/times?

We run the program from 9am-11am with small groups starting every 15 minutes.  The program lasts approximately 45mins-1hour.

What is the cost?

Cost is $6 per child and $1 per adult.

Do I need to register?

Yes!  Due to the popularity of the event, registration is required.  On May 16 at 9am we will open registration for ALL events and require prepayment.  The link to register will be available here.

What if I need to cancel/reschedule?

After you register you will get a confirmation email that has a link to re-schedule or cancel your booking if something changes later in the summer.  Refunds will automatically be given if you cancel within 12 hours of the event.  Outside the time frame refunds may be issued upon a case-by-case basis by emailing applecastleevents@gmail.com.

Science in Nature Camp

A Day Camp for Elementary Kids

Participants will be fully engaged learning about God’s world and scientific facts and concepts that they can take home and use in their own backyards. They will learn through play, crafts, literature, fun facts and farm tours and bring home a family discussion sheet for at home fun and learning.

Age: completed K through completed 4th grade

Cost: $75 per camper

Date/Time: Session 1 -July 6-10 9:30am-12:00pm.  Topics include: Backyard Bugs, Bird Biology, Fruit or Veggie, Apple Apprentice, Plants and Wildflowers.

Session 2 – July 13-17 9:30am-12:00pm.  Topics include: Dirt/Soil, PA Wildlife, Animal Evidence, Recycling, Simple Machines

LocationCamp will take place at the Apple Castle Pavilion – children will be outside for the duration of camp, with shaded & covered areas.  Please dress accordingly.

All lessons are taught by a certified PA teacher

*Parents are not required to stay.  If your child has special needs that require a full-time attendant please be prepared to have an adult stay to assist them.
