Appeon Multi-browser Plug-in

Appeon Multi-browser Plug-in, developed by Appeon Corporation, is a client-side component that enables Appeon Web–deployed PowerBuilder applications to run inside supported Windows browsers. It supplies the necessary runtime to render user interfaces (including DataWindows), execute client logic, handle printing and file interactions permitted by policy, and maintain communication with the Appeon server. The plug-in also manages on-demand download and updates of application resources, helping enterprises deliver rich, desktop-like PowerBuilder functionality through the browser with minimal client setup. Note: This is legacy, plug-in-based technology intended for environments that still support older browser plug-in frameworks.
