Eligibility

We are only accepting submissions from high-school students in the United States. All winners will be required to prove their eligibility.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

  • Potential For Change
  • Judges assess projects on their potential to create tangible, positive change. Emphasis on real-world problem-solving, practicality, and feasibility.

  • Social Feasibility and Practicality
  • Evaluation of project practicality, feasibility, and likelihood of successful implementation. Consideration of available resources and scalability.
  • User-Centered Design
  • Emphasis on user experience and relevance to the intended audience. Evaluation based on how well participants consider end-users in their design.

  • Sustainability and Long-Term Impact
  • Judging based on the consideration of long-term impact and sustainability. Assessment of potential for continued success and lasting effects beyond the hackathon.
