About & History

Since the early 1990s, Campaign’s Agency of the Year is the region’s most prestigious awards programme, benchmarking and recognising outstanding leadership, agencies, brands, and work across local, regional, and global markets.

The purpose of the Asia-Pacific Awards is to celebrate the achievements and resilience of the region’s marketing communications industry, and the great people and brands that have navigated the challenges of the past year through strong leadership, creativity, and innovation.

With results tabulated by a Process Integrity Partner : SCS-Invictus Group, it is the only programme to honour agency excellence at both a local and regional level.

In 2020, we expanded our reach by launching the Global Agency of the Year scheme, which invites individual agencies from around the world to compete alongside our local programs. This initiative provides agencies with a valuable opportunity to showcase their talents on a global stage. For further details, please visit our dedicated AOY Globals website.

Results

In cases where there is single entry or fewer entries in the category, judges will unanimously decide whether there should be a shortlist and/or whether any trophies should be awarded at the final round of judging. This may result in no shortlist and no trophy being awarded in a category. The judges’ decisions are final.

Awards will be made at the discretion of the judges based on a scoring system and no feedback or correspondence will be entered into about the results.
