During the first half of 2025, ANSOLE e.V. carried out a range of impactful activities at both the international and local levels. These activities align with ANSOLE e.V.’s core mission to promote sustainable energy, education, research collaboration, counselling, and support across Africa and locally in Germany. The international events, ranged from high-level international conferences and stakeholder engagements to grassroots workshops and cultural initiatives. ANSOLE continues to serve as a vital platform for advancing solar energy and climate action through inclusive, interdisciplinary efforts.
In Jena and other parts of Thuringia, ANSOLE intensified its counselling and support activities to African migrants based on the AMAH-Project (Focal Point for People of African Origin). ANSOLE published the 2nd edition of the 3rd issue of the MIGRANTh magazine, which focuses on socially and politically engaged women. The issue was released on the March 8th, marking International Women’s Day. Moreover, four interviews were carried out for the 6th and 7th issues of the magazine.
The chairperson and CEO of ANSOLE, Prof. Daniel A. M. Egbe, was elected on the 1st of April 2025, to the council of migrants of Jena for a 5 year mandate representing the African Continent.
