Day 4845: Dealing with narcissists

People in my Coping and Healing groups often talk about dealing with narcissists.

Unfortunately, because narcissists are world leaders, we are all dealing with narcissists these days.

Yesterday, somebody told me about a technique called “grey rocking” for dealing with narcissists.

.

Can you see dealing with narcissists in my images for today?

.

Looks like the Daily Bitch has been dealing with a narcissist. Join the club.

I wrote my first song because I was dealing with narcissists.

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “dealing with narcissists” on YouTube.

.

Thanks to all who are here for this dealing-with-narcissists post, including YOU!

Day 4844: World Health Day

Today is World Health Day.

.

It’s challenging to celebrate World Health Day when the world seems so unhealthy and when so many people do NOT stand with science. Nevertheless, I hold out hope for World Health, as I hope you can see in my images for today.

The Daily Bitch has an interesting way of celebrating World Health Day.

Here’s what I find when I search for World Health Day on YouTube:

.

Thanks to all who make my world healthier, including YOU!

Day 4843: Self Doubt

When I saw a psychic in Salem this weekend, she suggested several times that I let go of self doubt.

When I do my Coping and Healing groups, I often suggest that people throw self doubt away in the magic waste paper basket.

If I’m allowing AI to generate information about self doubt today, it’s not because I have self doubt.

.

Journaling is a strategy for dealing with self doubt and does anybody doubt that a daily blog is a form of journaling?

.

I have no doubt that I’ll find something about self doubt on YouTube.

.

I hope people don’t have any self doubt about leaving comments, below.

Thanks to all who have dealt with self doubt, including YOU!

Day 4842: Predictions

Because there are so many negative predictions about the future, I saw a psychic in Salem yesterday. Her predictions included the following:

  • I will travel to Europe.
  • It will be a safe journey.
  • My health will be good.
  • I will live many more years.
  • People will love my positive music if I work on it and stop having so much self doubt.
  • People at the hospital where I work will continue to like me very much.
  • I shouldn’t work so hard.
  • My husband (who is “a very good guy”) will continue to care about me.
  • Things in the USA will get better over the next year.

I like predictions like those.

Is anyone making predictions that there will be many interesting images in my blog post today?

This is Lori Bruno, the psychic who made all the great predictions.

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “predictions” on YouTube.

.

Anyone making predictions about how I’ll end this post?

Day 4841: Security Joan

Security Joan, one of my favorite songs by Donald Fagen, is about a TSA agent named Joan.

.

I have my own Security Joan, who’s been inspecting my luggage as I start packing for my trip to Spain.

.

I’m so glad I have a Security Joan; she helps me feel more secure as I make my way through this world.

.

Secure thanks to Joan, Donald Fagen, my friends on social media, and YOU!

Day 4840: Note to self

Note to self: Show up everyday and leave room for others to do the same.

.

.

Note to self: Express gratitude, every day.

Day 4839: Responses

Whenever I share something, I am very interested in people’s responses, even though I can’t predict what those responses will be.

What responses do you have to my images for today?

.

My response to International Fact-Checking Day is that I wish the media’s responses to Donald Trump would include more fact checking and less sycophantic reporting.

Here’s what I find when I search for “responses” on YouTube.

.

Thanks to all who have authentic and honest responses, including YOU!

Day 4838: Commandments

Because ‘tis the season of the movie The Ten Commandments and became I love this scene from Mel Brooks’s movie History of the World, Part I

.

… I asked this question on social media last night.

.

I’m not comfortable giving commandments but I would like to suggest that thou shalt peruse my remaining images for today.

.

Here’s what I find when I search for commandments on YouTube:

.

The final commandment in this blog post is Thou Shalt Give and Accept Gratitude Daily.

Day 4837: Obsessed

Because I’m obsessed with trying to be non-judgmental (as evidenced by four thousand, eight hundred and thirty-seven consecutive days of writing this Year(s) of Living Non-Judgmentally blog), I finally found a definition of “obsessed” that is not judgmental.

.

Because I am also obsessed with clarity and meaning, I’ll share the inspiration for today’s blog post:

.

I found that book yesterday in the hospital gift shop because I’m obsessed with getting interesting pictures for this blog.

Can you see what else I’m obsessed with in my other images for today?

.

“Eww, people!” is something I might think when I check the news or the latest numbers for my original songs, because I am obsessed with both.

Here’s what I find when I search for “obsessed” on YouTube.

.

I am obsessed with collecting and sharing expressions of gratitude with wonderful people like YOU!

Day 4836: Making sense

As a group therapist, I witness people making sense of their lives when many others (including those in power) are not making sense.

I don’t know if my words so far are making sense, so here are my images for the day.

.

In my attempt to keep making sense during often senseless times, here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “making sense.”

.

Every day, I’m making sense by expressing gratitude to YOU!
