An Anime/Manga Icontest

Hello and welcome to animeawards! A weekly anime icon contest for all iconists, whatever age, gender, or skill level! Anything goes, as long as it's anime/manga and somewhat related to the contests.



01. Each member may submit only one icon per theme (Anime/Manga/RPG).
02. All icons must be related to the theme or it won't qualify.
03. Submitted icons must be compatible with LJ. [100x100 & Under 40kb]
04. Don't advertise your icon. Meaning, don't get a bunch of your friends to vote for you. It's CHEATING.
05. Do not steal others' icons and claim them as your own.
06. Don't criticize others' icons! Keep your envy under wraps please!
07. Submitted icons must be no more than 7 days old from time of submission.
08. Please do not vote for your own icons. If caught constantly voting for yourself, you'll be banned.
09. We'd like to keep this community clean, so no hentai please, unless it's censored and tasteful.
10. All icons must be saved on some place that will allow direct linking. Livejournal pics is not a good source.
11. Please don't take anything without crediting. Wait for the release of the original creators, and then ask.
12. You may enter an icon you have submitted in for another icontest as long as both contests are running at the same time. This means the voting and results are announced at the same time.
13. Only members are allowed to vote. Multiple account voting will get you banned.

Every Wednesday evening, a moderator will post the weekly theme in a submission post. They will give you any information you may need in regards to your icons. All comments are screened automatically, so only the moderators and yourself will be able to see your icon. Please submit your icon as follows:
