About this Webring

This Webring is for fans of The East Patch's "Angel Hare" wholesome horror webseries. But anyone that is a fan of any of the other shows by The East Patch is free to join!

Okay, but what is a Webring?

A Webring is a pretty old way to connect websites that decide to join it in a way that if you keep clicking the next person in the ring, you end up going back to the first person in the ring. Originally it was made as web engines were pretty bad so the only way to find people that had something in common were through forums, Webrings and fan lists

People like myself are making Webrings again mainly because web engines are getting shittier again (thanks AI) and social media feel too big to find people that have something in common

What is the difference between this Webring and a Fanlist then?

I assure you that there is a difference but it is so nuance and specific that I cannot tell you, instead this person did it before me, so read it

What are these?

These are examples of the widgets that you could use after you join, I even included a way to create your own if you don't like the templates I provide! I use my own code instead of onionring or others so anyone could add these templates into their site!

The only ones that can use them are people that actually joined this Webring. If you decide to join, go to the Join tab and follow the rules

Before using any template, add the next link tag to your HTML

Use the next input to write your chosen slug and then choose your template (or choose your template and replace YOURSLUG with your self assigned slug that you joined with, either way works)

All of these are made out of 4 links: a link to the previous person, a link to the next person, a link to this page and an optional link to a random person. The next widget is the most basic way to make a fully functional widget without any need of the widgets.css file

    2. Having any sort of Angel Hare or The East Patch content is not required. We welcome anyone that is fan, not only the more extreme ones

    3. Websites with adult content are allowed but any and all adult content content should be restricted so there isn't any accidental clicking (a pop-up that tells you about what are you going to see or something similar)

      That said, websites with offensive, bigoted or illegal content will be rejected

    4. You must add any of the widgets in the Widgets page or make your own, remember to change the YOURSLUG to the slug you want to choose for yourself
