Who We Can Help

  • Are you suffering from substance or alcohol use disorder?

If you find that you have little or no control over the amount of drugs or alcohol you consume, you are likely suffering from a progressive illness called substance use disorder. For over twenty-five years, the staff at Andy’s House has been helping clients overcome their drug and alcohol dependencies through effective, individualized treatment programs aimed at lasting recovery.

Our goal is to treat the illness and help clients succeed in achieving a full recovery so they may thrive in sobriety. You don’t have to do this alone.

Is a loved one suffering from substance or alcohol use disorder?

If a loved one cannot control his or her drug or alcohol intake, or predict their behaviour when they use, they likely have substance use disorder. Most often, the person with a substance use disorder will not recognize or acknowledge the negative effects their behaviour has on themselves or others which makes it challenging to offer help, but waiting for the person with a substance use disorder to ask for help may not be the best strategy.

As people struggling with substance use disorder are often in denial about the severity of their illness, they subsequently are unwilling to accept treatment. An intervention is one of the most effective ways to help someone realize the seriousness of their substance use disorder and presents them with an opportunity to make changes before the illness progresses. Motivating your loved one to seek help is a good first step. Let us guide you through it.

Is a patient, client or employee suffering from substance or alcohol use disorder?

At Andy’s House, we welcome your referrals. If you have a client, patient, or employee in need of treatment, we would be pleased to provide you with more information or answer any questions that you may have about our substance abuse rehabilitation programs and treatment approaches. I invite you to contact us to discuss how we might be of service to your clients, patients or employees.

Although we are a private treatment centre, please don’t hesitate to call us to discuss the needs of your clients, patients, or employees who may be facing financial barriers, as we may be able to offer assistance to patients without financial means.
