You might be looking at this photo of me sitting on the back of a flatbed truck and thinking, “Who is this pillock?” That is a perfectly fair question, so let me tell you a bit about myself.
I know exactly what it feels like to be a ‘best-kept secret’. I have spent nearly thirty years building businesses, performing in bands, and navigating the gritty reality of the creative industries. I remember that sense of bewilderment, knowing I was creating good work, yet feeling like it was invisible to the rest of the world. That feeling is what drives me to help my clients (or as I prefer to call them, my allies).
My Passion
I believe business should be a source of joy, not a chore. I also believe that trust is something that can be measured, nurtured, and even loved.
From experience, I know that every creative business has fantastic elements that the owner dismisses as mundane or ‘just normal’. I am here to be your cheerleader, to help polish how the world sees you, and to ensure you stay in demand. If you aren’t there yet, let’s make it happen.
Mischief
I have always seen the world a little differently, right back to my school days. I have a knack for spotting patterns or opportunities that others might miss. I have learned to embrace that trait and lean into my creative spirit, sometimes mischievously, always productive and exciting.
When I’m not working with allies or hanging out with my family, you will find me making ‘experimental noises’ in a recording studio or playing guitar in a band. I truly believe that our creative pursuits, even the ones we don’t monetise, are the fuel for our professional lives.
