Thank goodness for long bus commutes and e-readers.  Without mine, I would never have rediscovered my love of books.  As a full time student, and a one hour daily commuter, I have a lot of reading time.  I’ve been posting my reviews to Goodreads but have decided that it’s high time to spread the reviewing love to WordPress.

My recent reads fall under the blanket genre of romance, hence the “Amorous” in Amorous Reads.  I don’t discriminate between young adult and adult novels, or the many romance sub-genres.  My favorites tend to be paranormal, fantasy, or steampunk in nature.  I treat my reading time as an escape, something to distract me from my studies and the day-to-day stress of being a card-carrying adult. Because of that, I tend to gravitate toward stories that aren’t too heavy and have a satisfying degree of closure.

My hope is that you will find some good recommendations through this blog, as well as introductions to new authors and genres that you might not have previously explored.
