Mobile Tickets FAQ
Do tickets need to already be printed to view them in My Account via a mobile device?
No. If tickets were already printed, then your Munster Rugby Account will display the existing barcode. If tickets have not already been printed, then My Munster Account will generate a barcode when the tickets are retrieved.
Can I have multiple tickets on a single phone?
Yes. When accessing your tickets through your account, tap on the game, and you will be able to swipe right to left through your available tickets. We strongly encourage saving your tickets to your phone's Wallet prior to gameday.
When I retrieve a ticket using My Account via a mobile device, will it invalidate existing tickets that were previously printed?
No. If tickets were already printed, then your Munster Rugby Account will display the existing barcode via a mobile device.
Can I use a screenshot of my ticket?
At the moment, yes but it is best to add tickets to your Apple/G Pay Wallet for later use or you can transfer tickets through your account to other members of your party so that you all don’t have to arrive at the venue together. (if transfer is enabled).
Why won’t my ticket barcode scan?
If your screen brightness is too low, the QR code may have difficulty being scanned. Increase the brightness of your display to improve scanning. The QR code that is displayed is accompanied by a number. Only digital tickets generated from your Munster Rugby Account or your Apple/G Pay Wallet will be accepted. Copies of barcodes presented through third-party applications or print outs will not be accepted at the venue.
If I access my tickets from My Account, can I still have them printed at the box office?
No, tickets retrieved within your Munster Rugby Account will now be considered printed. The tickets will not be available for pickup at the box office. You should present the ticket displayed in your account on your device to be scanned for entry at the venue.
If I have more than one ticket for the game, do I have to present all tickets at the same time?
No, all active tickets for a game associated with your Munster Rugby Account are available to be transferred electronically to the other members of your party. Transferring the ticket will require the person accepting the tickets to have a Munster Account (they can create an account as part of the transfer process if they don't currently have one) . Once they accept the transfer via the email sent to them, they can login to their account/create an account and view and save their mobile barcode to their own device. The transferred ticket(s) will no longer show as active in the purchaser’s account.(transfer may not be available on all games).
However, if all members of the party attending the game are together, then all tickets can be scanned from the one mobile device.
What if I lose connectivity after I’ve retrieved my tickets?
Connectivity may be intermittent depending on the venue; we encourage you to view your tickets on your device and add them to your Apple/G Pay Wallet before heading to the game. The data associated with your tickets will be saved to the Wallet area on your phone. If you have previously retrieved details for tickets to a game, added them to your Wallet and those tickets are still valid, they can be re-displayed out of this storage without re-establishing a connection.
What if my mobile device’s battery dies?
We encourage you to charge your device before you come to the game, but you may always go to the box office for assistance.
What happens if I lost/change my phone?
You can access your mobile tickets from any mobile device by logging into your Munster Rugby Account.
What do I do if I do not have a smartphone?
Printed tickets will be accepted.
We strongly recommend the following important tips:
- Add your ticket(s) to your phone's digital wallet in advance to avoid slow or weak Wi-Fi or mobile signals at the stadium
- Make sure you have a full battery charge before you head to the stadium
- If you are attending with guests, transfer each person their own ticket in advance
