2026 Juneteenth Celebration

Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Time: Doors open at 11 a.m.
Location: 4 Park Ave., at SUNY Empire's Manhattan location (between 33rd & 34th Streets)

Join us for an uplifting celebration of Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S. The event features a keynote by Joseph Washington Ph.D., SUNY Empire emeritus professor of history, a musical performance by Regi Randsdell and the Rhythm Rebels, and food. 

The celebration is sponsored by the Black Male Initiative, a student club at SUNY Empire.

Mark your calendars for SUNY Empire's annual Day at the Races at the historic Saratoga Racecourse.

Date: Thursday, July 30, 2026
Time: 10:30 a.m. to noon | 1 p.m. post time at Saratoga Racecourse
Locations: Breakfast at Alumni House at 28 Union Ave., Saratoga Springs | Saratoga Racecourse, 267 Union Ave., 

Cost is $40 per person. Optional parking is $20. More details when you register.
