The Client develops integrated security and workforce management solutions deployed in large-scale, high-security infrastructure environments across Europe.

Objective

To support the client’s product roadmap and modernization strategy, the following objectives were defined:

  • Modernize selected web applications and user interfaces
  • Rewrite parts of the platform using newer technologies
  • Expand functionality of existing enterprise products
  • Accelerate feature delivery while maintaining operational stability

Solution

Client's platforms support complex transportation hubs, logistics enterprises and public institutions where thousands of users, real-time access control and uninterrupted operations are critical. In some deployments, the system manages tens of thousands of access authorizations and supports large-scale automated entry processes within high-traffic environments.

The ecosystem combines electronic access control, gate management, workforce time tracking and centralized security monitoring into a unified enterprise platform tightly integrated with physical hardware.

Altabel assembled a dedicated cross-functional team that worked directly with the Client’s internal engineering department.

The team contributed to:

  • Feature expansion of a multi-module enterprise platform combining access control, workforce tracking and integrated security monitoring

  • Re-architecture and rewrite of a legacy Time Management module using modern frontend and backend technologies

  • Development the MVP of an interactive floor plan interface with real-time asset tracking, instant alarm visualization and integrated live video streaming per alert

  • Development of a mobile-optimized web interface enabling employees to manage leave requests, absences and document uploadsImplementation of automated testing to increase release stability and predictability
