New Flight Simulator coming spring 2026!
Aloft Flight’s new Basic Aviation Training Device (BATD) is an FAA-approved, highly realistic flight simulator made by Gleim – a long time leader in aviation training. Students and certificated pilots may log time in the simulator toward obtaining your Private, Instrument or Commercial license or rating. Pilots may use a BATD to master the transition from standard “six pack” instrumentation to modern TAA aircraft, maintain instrument currency or as part of an Instrument Proficiency Check with an Instructor.
Features include three 27″ monitors that produce clear, realistic 180 degree views, 24″ interactive touchscreen instrument panel, rudder pedals, fully adjustable pilot seat and two Cessna 172 aircraft performance and instrument panel configurations.
The simulator will be online by the start of our 2026 Season on May 15th and we will be offering a discounted introductory rate of just $39 per hour! A one hour check out with a flight instructor is required but after that students are free to schedule any time you like. Book a session soon!
