[Conner gives a confused look as he looks around the old Rocket base. Heeee's not exactly sure why or how he got here, but he's here. Sooo he'll try to make the best of it? Or something. yeah--idk. For now he'll just roam around with the ever so faithful Fox at his side.
THAT IS-- UNTIL A MASSIVE GROUP OF VOLTORBS AND ELECTRODES ROLL UP AND CIRCLE HIM AND FOX. One of the Voltorbs rolls closer to him and self-destructs. Bracing himself for a world of hurt he shields his face as he's sent flying backwards. Except that it... didn't really hurt him? As much as he thought it would hurt him anyways.]
What? [he flexes his arm some as he gets up. Turning his head slightly he notices how banged up the wall looks and grins slyly. There's only two possibilities he's considering. One, he hit his head pretty hard and is making this up, or two, he has his powers back. Welp! There's only one way to test this out. And with that he charges at the group fists raised. He takes aim and punches one of the Electrodes into a KO.]
I can do this all day. Come at me.

[Nothing really out of sorts here. Except, save the fact that Conner is fishing. He heard it was calming and he kind of wanted to see what kind of fishies were underwater so he decided to give it a try.
Everything is pretty peaceful and undisturbed, up until he gets a bite. Alert, he stands and reels in a-- big flopping red fish. He blinks. This was not what he was expecting.]
karp karp karp karp magikaaarp
[Though it's not throwing the towel in yet, no sir! It wriggles around more and the line snaps. Fortunately for Conner, he had already pulled it far enough on land, but, just to make sure he jumps on it andwrestles drags it closer and away from the edge he was sitting on with the assistance from Fox, his Eevee.
During the scuffle, one of his pokéballs falls out of his pocket and the poor distraught Magikarp lands right on top of it. Not really expecting that he waits for the fish to reject the ball-- but with the combined effort of Conner and Fox, the Magikarp decided to stay inside.]
I guess I'll call you Fish. Thanks Fox. [he says as he reaches down to pick up the pokéball and to scratch behind Fox's ear.]

[NOT EXACTLY SURE HOW THIS THING TURNED ON, but Conner is just gonna... blame the monkey. Who is currently giving him the biggest headache. He takes one look at the jumping Aipom and just glares. Whatever-- he could... just ignore it right? RIGHT?! Let's see how long it takes Supey before he goes postal at the purple cretin pokémon.
Not... too long, apparently. While the monkey was dancing and jumping about on top of Conner's desk it accidentally bumped into something which in turn caused a cup to knock over. Conner glared at the monkey and realized a little too late that the gross sticky content inside the cup was making a crash course for the boots he had to the side of his desk.

Those were my second favorite pair of boots. Why couldn't you have spilled that stuff over that shirt these people want me to wear?
