As in, something I ship that has no basis? Or my perfect pairing, the one that cuts the mold to all my pairings?
I'm going to go with the first one since, if I cheat that way, it means CROSSOVER TIMES. And I do have a lot of crossover pairings, you know. But if were talking about dreams, we're talking about imagination. And if we're talking about imagination, then we're talking about
Mac from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes.

Not now. But later: young adult Mac and young adult Calvin, who have spent most of their lives being shunned for their imagination, their imaginary friends. And maybe they decide to try, sorta, to pretend. Not to stop thinking their friends are real - because they ARE - but to try and fit. In a way.
Only they don't. And then, they meet each other. And Calvin thinks Mac is this huge loser nerd and Mac thinks Calvin is crazy and possibly a criminal, but somehow they get along. They fit. They have these hundred of silly jokes only they understand and there hasn't been even a moment they actually discussed these things, they just exist and they're great and they're made for laughing. And just like that they just. I won't say belong, because they don't, not really.
But they fit in an awkward, strange way that suits them just fine.
