random shopping weekend. most likely precipitated by the fact that i had an extra payday this month. i bought some rad stuff, and some boring stuff including:

-underwear from macy*s. i really needed new underwear. i used to hate buying it, now i like it, but hate that the good stuff is a bit pricey. most was on sale, but still.
-a $3 fleece and two short sleeve shirts from old navy. good deals there. go now!
-shower stuff from b&bw as they are having a REALLY good sale and i had a $20 gift card
-new dish drain and drainboard. ours was stinky. but i also got a salad bowl thingee. all from bed, bath & beyond for decent prices.
-food from shop rite. boring.
-new scrub pants for work. they have about a 6-8 mo life span when worn all the time. i had a life uniform coupon, so that was nice. which also reminds me i need to alter them, they are too long.
-a pda. yep. i got a palm. i am so frickin' excited about this. all levels of geeky organization will be employed by this one device!

after all was said and done, i thought i spent more. but this was enough to last a good long while.

and now i'm sleepy, but i should drag out the sewing machine and take care of those new scrub pants.

i think i slept about 10hrs last night. about that. and i still feel tired. i am like this every winter. it's like i have some kind of hibernation state that requires me to sleep more. the worst part is that i feel less energized, so my motivation to exercise is nada. i want to go to the gym for an hour, but when i get home all i want to do is maybe watch tv and sleep. ugh.

this gatorade am tropical-mango is neither tropical nor mango. tastes like wonky orange.

apparently xm ethel tells me eddie vedder is going to do another movie soundtrack. i am wondering if that was the 'busy' the 10C email was talking about or if the band has any projects they are working on such as *cough*newmusic*cough* or perhaps a *cough*tour*cough*.

i feel 'bleh' tired today. let's hope this isn't some relapse and just that i went to bed too late. i was up finishing up the lost season 3 dvds. i am now ready for the season premiere ... which will take place in about 2 weeks. rad.

i need to get back to the gym. speaking of the gym, i need to see if there will be one near our new place.

randomly? i want a pda. a palm to be specific. i can justify it just with my lack of organization and need to make task lists. but at the same time, they aren't cheap. i think my job should provide it :) they wouldn't, but they should!

we got rain, not snow. i am not too surprised. but i am kind of amused by the fact that all the weather people were wrong; al roker and all the other weather peeps got sent on location to CT and MA to report this morning. that was pretty funny.

i am so going to paint our new place since we will prolly be living there for at least 2 years. *eep* i am so excited. we can do wall art or prints! aieee!

more lost dvds! i cannot wait till the season premiere. but what i really want are seasons 2 and 3 of the office on dvd.

i either want ALOT of snow or no snow. it has to be enough to validate not going to work, otherwise it's just a mess. boo. and right now it's raining i think.

we started the paperwork and gave a deposit on the new apt! i am very excited. i will have a dishwasher again :) this place is bigger than where we live, but it's also cheaper. i like that. and we have a month to move in. i have plans for this place. esp since we will prolly be there for a few years until we can buy something. things are moving forward and it feels really good :)

i think we have found a place to move! it is a place in edison (actually the edison/highland park border), actually a one bedroom, but it is SO much bigger than our place now, for the same amount of money. and with laundry facilities on site. imagine that. heh. we are going to see if maybe they have a place with a den for $25 more, but even without? we'd have a little dining room! that's amazing.

on the flipside, we have john's little brother with us for the evening until tomorrow. he's going to be 13, and a good kid. right now we are playing with the wii he got for cmas. sooooooooo jealous. i want a wii.

ugh. i ate too much sugar. i really need to get better with that. trying to cut down on sugar. man, and sugar is so good too.... bleh.

so tomorrow i need to run errands and all that. but otherwise kind of a so-so day. isn't there supposed to be a storm tomorrow night? man, i hope it rains and doesn't snow.

so i have been on meds for about three days now and my sore throat is gone. i have an odd dry cough that comes and goes, but the annoying part is that my voice is still blah ... as if i spent all night at a concert. my plan is to start taking allergy meds after i finish the other meds and hope it clears up. b/c it is really frustrating to sound like this yo.

the process of finding a new apt is not getting any easier. we are going to see 3 places this saturday which vary in price, i am hoping the lower one is nice, but that's hoping for alot, but you never know.

but there is sushi for dinner tonite, so i should quit the complaining ;)

could i waffle more on this issue? i am going to the doctor. i now have this croup-y cough with the whole throat thing. yeah, not getting better. oh well. i am not sure if i should go to work and try to make an appt, or hope that they can see me tomorrow and and not go to work. so frustrating. i hate being sick and having to seek treatment. arghhhhhhhhh!

today was a long day, and i am tired, but not entirely sleepy. just up and watching season 3 of lost on dvd.

i haven't called the doctor. i just really think this is a virus and they can't do anything about that anyways. that and i prolly should start taking allergy meds again. the air is so dry too. too many things against me!
