We’ve rolled out a series of updates to make downloading and offline access smoother, smarter, and more user-friendly:
1. Automatic Download Restart:
• If the app was previously closed during a download, it will now automatically resume the next time the app is opened—working around iOS system limitations.
2. Full HD Video Downloads:
• All video content is now available for download in full HD, delivering a crisp, high-quality viewing experience offline.
3. Data Usage Alerts When Switching Networks:
• Users will now receive alerts when switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data during downloads to avoid unexpected data usage.
4. Improved Guidance for “Download Over Wi-Fi Only” Setting:
• In-app instructions now clearly explain how to use the "Wi-Fi only" download option to avoid confusion and ensure reliable downloads.
5. Enhanced Airplane Mode Support:
• Improved messaging and behaviour when the app is in Airplane Mode make it easier to access and enjoy previously downloaded content without interruption.
6. Clearer Download Progress UI:
• The interface now offers more transparent and intuitive indicators of download status, so users know exactly what’s happening and when downloads are complete.
