In 2016 Chelsey joined Bejo Seeds as the Home & Farm Market Manager, and Organic Lead for US and Canada. Her role today consists of sales, product development, and advocacy. Additional time is spent as the National Garden Bureau Vice President of All-America Selection Trials Committee and co-Chair for Organic Trade Association Organic Seed Taskforce.

Dr. Alicain Carlson, is a passionate horticulturist and has dedicated a decade to Syngenta Flowers, leading teams in her various technical and marketing roles. With a Ph.D. in horticulture, she brings scientific rigor and creative flair to her work. Furthermore, Alicain serves on multiple industry boards, including NGB, contributing her knowledge and leadership to shape the future of horticulture.

Anneliese Valdes manages CobraHead LLC, a Wisconsin-based company that manufactures weeding and cultivating tools loved by home gardeners and professional growers alike. As VP of the NGB Membership Committee, she emphasizes the importance of mutual support among gardening industry members to achieve shared success.

Paula Douer is VP of the Crescent Garden Company, a premier home and garden provider of plant containers, accessories, and outdoor furniture dedicated to helping consumers grow successful, inspired gardens. Paula co-founded the business in 1999 with her husband, Harry Tchira and as part of her role she is focused on understanding consumer trends in the industry.

Denise currently serves as Director of Product Innovations at Smith Gardens. She joined Smith Gardens in 2009 where she managed the planning of over 4700-line items and 32 brands and established the company as a master trial garden site before taking on her newly created role.

Penny holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Horticulture from Auburn University. She joined PanAmerican Seed in 2025, where she manages multiple product lines after being an AAS Judge for many years. Since 2020, Penny has been a member of the Board of Directors.
