He went on to a forty-year teaching and coaching career, interrupted only by a ten-year stint on Wall Street. While coaching high school basketball and baseball, he was named both the Middlesex County and the Morris County Coach of the Year. Jeff retired in 2024 and launched a new career as an author. He lives with his wife Deborah and golden retriever, Scarlett, in Florham Park, New Jersey.
