Wanted to buy stamps at the supermarket. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. I asked for stamps for the Netherlands and for the US. The lady then said (I quote): "The US? That's Europe, right?" Being tired and thinking that she couldn't possibly be that dense, I thought, sure, maybe the Europe stamps are valid for the US for some reason? It could happen. Then her colleague came over and agreed with her that yes, the US is indeed in Europe.
On second though, let's do go to Camelot as it looks promising. Not a huge King Arthur myth fan, to be honest, but it's Chibnall (quality writing) and Joseph Fiennes (quality acting).
Even though I am not that excited about Torchwood:US/UK (aka series/season four), these writers are really quite good. I'll be watching anyways, mostly because I want to know how they'll bring Captain Jack and Gwen back.
And to wrap up this geeky linky post: a Jedi Quiz by Savage Chickens.
Took the bus home, where I didn't have to pay for the ride, to see loads of people still about at the central bus/train station, before cycling past honking cars and more happy people. Bring it on Spain/Germany*.
