I have put aside the mad Ivanova-as-commander-of-B5 AU, as it was all a bit complicated and my brain needs to absorb and dwell on it a bit. Instead, as apocalypsos has set up apocalyptothon, my brain decided to go back to an old idea I had, where Ivanova wanders depressingly about a post-apocolyptic-type universe, in which the Shadow War went Badly. Except now it's Ivanova and Na'Toth wandering depressingly about said universe, with flashbacks to the last contact Susan had with her friends and other people from Babylon 5. It's a bit miserable, but quite fun to write. Probably I should invent some plot beyond depressed wandering.

I also wrote an angry but possibly incoherent email to Amazon explaining why they are made of fail.

Tomorrow I might actually leave the house, and possibly even buy food, and collect the parcel that has been waiting at the Post Office since Wednesday. It could be something exciting, but most likely it's the phone charger I left at my mum's. Which would be quite exciting anyway, because then I could charge my phone and text my brother and demand that he sends me season 3 of Farscape immediately.

Things I must not forget: post to lgbtfest on the 17th and to post to xf_is_love on the 20th. Content is ready to go, just about, just the actual remembering of dates that may cause problems. I wish my brain was better at that.

kitoky mentioned picspammy's current challenge, Scenes and Sequences. And I thought, well. There's a lot of scenes and sequences I adore in B5, obviously. So there will probably be more of these, but first, probably my favourite scene ever, definately my favourite scene with Londo and G'Kar. (You know, apart from all the other ones.)

Picspam from episode 5x18, with SPOILERS for the end of season 5.

I went for a bike ride this morning. Well more of a bike/walk combo. Partly because road and hills are a bit scary when you haven't cycled for ages (to me anyway,) but also because my knees are a mess. I've noticed that going up and downstairs sometimes causes a twinge of pain, but cycling really really hurt them, so I had to walk every now and then to give them a break. Still, it was good, and Sunday morning is definately a good time to go, nice and quiet, not too many cars.

I did spend almost an hour trying to workout how to use my bike pump, until I came to my senses and used the internet. After that it took about five minutes. I have learnt my lesson.

I should try and sort out my room which is a mess (as always) but I think I might work on my lgbtfest story instead.

Recently I have been working on the WIP of doooooommm! Otherwise known as the mad Susan/Talia AU. It's not particuarly long, but it is a story I started somewhere back in the depths of time. 2002, maybe.

It's sort of finished. I mean, it's not, it's needs fleshing out a bit, and I'm a bit worried that the first section is noticably worse than the rest, simply because I wrote it 6 years ago. Maybe more. Still, it's kinda cheery finishing it and all, seeing all those plot points I wrote outin bullet form find their way into the story, eventually. I doubt it makes sense to anyone who isn't me though. But yay! Fic writing! It's been a while.

Also I may have slightly created a comm for the female gay cop lovers of BRILLIANCE. It is lucasdevlin, for that is their names, and you should all join, and watch the episode on YouTube (links in the community profile) and then write me fic. I shall make icons and possibly a vid once I have figured out how to turn my realmedia youtube downloads into avi files.

We have just watched the best episode of Diagnosis Murder ever. It had two female cops where were incredibly slashy an lovely with each other, and one of them drove like a mad person and shot herself and had been in the bomb squad and the other was lovely and loved their car and couldn't believe anthing her partner said or did. They were trying to find out who had been shooting criminals, and it turned out to be a gang of female cops, who were also incedible. I LOVE THEM. They are called Amy and Jackie and IMBD claims they aren't in ten million episodes and have their own spin off. THIS IS SURELY A LIE. I don't understand the world. I should write fic and make a community because they were smashing. The internet claims there is no fic and no one is interested in them. Whywhywhy?
