Thank you so much for writitng for me. I have one big Want this year: Anything fluffy and happy, truly - if you do that, then my Yuletide will be a happy one! I've got a lot going on IRL, and would much rather nothing stressful or angsty (unless it has a happy ending. Yay, yappy endings!).
General likes: Fluff. Queer relationships. Adventures. Little kids. Little kids going on adventures.

Could you queer it up, please? I'm leaving characters empty so that you can write who you feel most comfortable with. I've got some prompts at the letter, but don't feel obligated! We have so few queer canonical queer characters in Tortall that I would be happy with anyone.
Queer it up prompts:
- Neal crushing on Raoul or Kel on Buri.
- OC crushing on Kel or Neal and them not knowing what to do about it. Bonus points for reciprocity.
- Wyldon having to deal with relationships in the pages, or Dom among his men.
Honestly, if you don't feel like you can do the queer thing, write the story you want to write and I'll be pleased. Thank you!
LEGALLY BLONDE (2001):
I'm interested in finding out more. If you've got a plot bunny go for it, but some starting points are below (Elle centric becuase she's the only character nominated, but I really don't care)!
- Elle showing some smarts before deciding she wants to be pre-law (she did have a 4.0 GPA in fashion merchandising!).
- Elle getting the best of Warner.
- Elle's internal struggle on what she wants to do with her life -- does she ever regret law school, and how does she get passed it?

I love their garden scene so much and would just love to see more of the two of them! How do they plot, what do they like to do, life after the play, perhaps? They must be dear friends.... right? Thank you! Something fluffy and happy would be wonderful.

I would like it to be character-centric, but which of them is up to you. I've read all the books in this series, so any characters you pick/use are fine with me. If you would like to pair anyone together romantically - with each other or with OC's or with canon others - the only thing I request you avoid is intergenerational (NO Briar/Rosethorn, etc). OBERNEWTYN - I love this fandom and will truly be happy with anything you want to write. Elspeth fic? Cameo fic? Dragon fic? Matthew and Dragon fic? Character sketches, missing moments, wanders on the dreamtrails - anything would make me happy.
A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE - Arya and Sansa. I'm really easy to please. Anything with either or better yet both of them. What about a moment pre-canon when they got along, or worked to play a trick on their brothers or parents?
ALIAS - I must admit, this was my first fandom and is dear to my heart. The upside of that is there's no way to mess it up for me! You can choose to write one of the nominated characters or someone else you want to write. If you want to set it at Halloween, that would be fabulous.
FROZEN - Oh god give me Frozen fic. Flash-fics, five times, character sketches. I nominated Weselton's Guards if you want to go with them, or anyone in the tagset. There was an amendment proposed to a bill today. "The amendment, which would allow religious organizations that receive public funding to discriminate against LGBT families in the adoption process, is attached to a seemingly innocuous bill supporting the state’s blind community. The amendment would exempt adoption agencies from the Illinois Human Rights Act, a law that prevents discrimination based on race, religion, disability, gender identity and sexual orientation. The amendment would also allow religious adoption agencies to refuse to place children with opposite- sex couples who have a civil union."

1) I have a cough. I went to student health. I got antibiotics and cough suppressants. As I said to the doctor, "It's started to affect my daily life. Granted, my daily life includes a capella rehearsal and a musical theatre class...". He laughed pretty hard at that.

ferlith (who I just forced into getting an LJ, it's cool) and I are in an amazing university class together. I call it "My Fandom Class". It has an academic course name, but it boils down to "Let's Study Cult TV and the Fan Culture That Surrounds It". BUT there's a slight problem in the class. While fortunately our amazing professor (Prof. P) speaks fluent Fannish, there's a bit of a language barrier between us and our classmates. Hence, we have begun writing a glossary of common fan terms - and we need your help!
Below is the glossary. If you could read it and comment with your edits, thoughts, criticisms, and/or additions, it would be amazing. Thank you!
Unlike a lot of glossaries/dictionaries, this one is explicitly targeted at the other students in our university class. We like to joke the class is made up of two types of people: Film & Media Studies kids, and us. (Remind us to tell you the D/H comment that was made...) Thus, while we are looking for full definitions and nuances, examples might not carry the same resonance, which is why we’re trying to make any we include either really widely-known, or from fandoms we’ve already discussed in class (mainly Star Trek and the late 80s Beauty and the Beast TV show).
