General Rules
    • Participants must register individually or as a team.
    • Teams must adhere to the size limit (2–5 members).
    • All work must be original and created during the hackathon.
    • Use of open-source libraries and APIs is allowed, but must be properly credited.

Code of Conduct

  • ALGOfest is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.

    Participants must:

    • Respect all individuals regardless of background
    • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior
    • Communicate professionally and respectfully
    • Follow instructions from organizers and mentors

    Violations may result in disqualification.

Intellectual Property
    • Participants retain ownership of their projects.
    • By participating, teams grant organizers the right to showcase their projects for promotional purposes.

Disqualification Criteria

  • Teams may be disqualified if they:

    • Submit plagiarized work
    • Violate hackathon rules
    • Engage in unethical behavior
    • Miss submission deadlines
