It turns out that Alexander attended not one, but two “Pillion” screenings on February 6, both of which had a Q&A with Alexander himself, Harry Melling and Harry Lighton at the end. One of them, presumably the 1st one, was hosted by Outfest and actress Elle Fanning, while the 2nd one was hosted by CAA and actress Zoey Deutch. Hello! Welcome to the new fansite dedicated to swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård, known for his work in the hit television series “True Blood”, “Big Little Lies” and “Succession”. He’s also starred in many feature films, such as “The Legend of Tarzan”, “Godzilla vs. Kong” and “The Northman”. Most recently, he’s been promoting the independent movie “Pillion”, which he’s described as a “kinky gay biker film” (can’t.wait.).
I’ve been a fan of Alexander since watching “Big Little Lies”, along with his interviews about the project and his character. At that point, I had already seen him in “Straw Dogs”, “The Little Drummer Girl” (which I loved) and a few other projects in which he had slightly smaller roles (“Zoolander” and “Melancholia” to mind). Making fansites was a big hobby for me back then, but, as there were quite a few dedicated to him already, I never built my own. I strayed away from it for a few years, and now the bug seems to have bit me again (I’m blaming this on the press tour for “Pillion”, which has worked a number on me).
The purpose of this fansite is to have an online archive of news, images and videos related to Alexander’s work that is easier to browse than going through multiple magazines and social media accounts. It is unlikely that it will have much in the ways of original content, seeing as I don’t have direct access to Alexander and don’t regularly attend film industry events (at most a festival here and there, when I can), but I do hope you enjoy your browsing experience all the same.
