Just drag the items you want to be remembered of to the Alarms menu and place them on the time line.
Due items can be dragged just further right or even to another day.
As long none of your to dos are due, Alarms will hide them behind your desktop.
If an alarm goes off you just can snooze it with a shake of your mouse.
