I was born in Toronto and lived there for over 30 years before moving to Seattle in 1993, and then to Glen Ellen in 2010. I walked into the local science fiction club to listen to John Brunner read poetry in 1978, and have been involved with science fiction fandom ever since.
Despite a degree in Metallurgy, I have worked as a technical writer and editor for more than twelve years. I am now working to develop a content management database system based on regular expression matching.
If it sits still for long enough, I will attempt to read it. Someday, I may have enough bookshelves...
