Alamo Armory Services
Firearms/Ammunition Disposal
- The Alamo will properly dispose of all unwanted firearms, ammunition and accessories. We will also demilitarize (make non-shootable) any firearm at the customer’s request.
Conditions and Exclusions
- We reserve the right to refuse any work, or work we deem would render a firearm unsafe.
- Repairs that are required due to customer negligence or misuse will not be covered by any Alamo warranty.
- Repair costs may be charged to the customer as required at the manufacturer’s discretion.
- Older firearms manufactured BEFORE 1960 will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- We will not remove or deactivate firearm safeties, including magazine safeties.
- ALL trigger work requires a live fire safety check.
- Parts affixed with Epoxy, Rockset, or high-strength Loctite will incur an additional removal charge.
- If required, The Alamo reserves the right to ship a firearm back to the manufacture or accredited service center for repairs. This may be due to a warranty claim or the unavailability of spare parts. This service may incur shipping and handling charges, depending on the specific manufacturer’s warranty policy.
- All Class III firearms/suppressors MUST include a copy of proper ATF/NFA Form 4 tax stamp when dropped off.
- These firearms or suppressors WILL NOT be accepted without the proper paperwork.

Lead Times:
We operate on a first come first serve basis, and our lead times reflect this. On occasion we will accept expedited jobs at the shop’s discretion. Expedited jobs will be up-charged at a rate equal to the amount of time reduced from our original lead time. *For example, if the standard wait is 4 weeks and we agree to complete your job in 2 weeks your quote will be increased by 50%.

Conditions and Exclusions:
We reserve the right to refuse any work. This includes but is not limited to: deactivation of safety features, any work on “Forced Reset” triggers of any kind, Non-serialized 80% lowers or frames, or any illegally modified firearms. If test-firing is required, it will be performed using factory ammunition. WE DO NOT perform TEST FIRES with hand-loaded, steel-core, or military surplus ammunition. Firearms not claimed within 30 DAYS of customer notification will incur a STORAGE FEE of $30/month. Once the storage fee exceeds the cost of labor and/or value of the firearm repairs, then the firearm will be considered abandoned and will become the property of The Alamo and put on the floor for resale to recoup costs and labor.
- All CLASS III/NFA firearms MUST be accompanied by a copy of the appropriate paperwork, I.E. (Tax Stamp) when dropped off

POLICIES/GUNSMITHING
** Please be aware that all timings and task are subject to change at The Alamo’s discretion.
- Lead times will vary depending on workload and time of year (season).
- Lead times of 2 – 8+ weeks for manufacture’s return from repair are not uncommon.
- Shipping, handling, and insurance fees may apply for warranty return to manufacturer when the firearm was not purchased at The Alamo.
- Customer agrees to pay for all parts the customer and armorer decide to order.
- All armorer services not listed below will be on a straight labor charge time basis.

Alamo Abandoned Property Policy for Armory Repair, Firearms, and Firearms Transfers
- Once notified that the firearm is completed or has been received in the store, the customer will have 30 days to pick up their merchandise.
- After 30 days, the customer will be assessed a $10/day storage fee until the firearm is picked up or the value of the firearm or cost of labor has been collected.
- Once the storage fee exceeds the cost of labor and/or value of the firearm repairs, then the firearm will be considered abandoned and will become the property of The Alamo and put on the floor for resale to recoup costs and labor.

The Alamo’s indoor shooting facility is open to the general public and to members. Whether you are bringing your own gun or renting one of ours, we’re excited to have you visit us for a shooting experience you’ll never forget. Our state-of-the-art range is equipped with 15 shooting lanes downstairs that are always open to the public on a first come first serve basis. We have also have 4 dedicated training lanes. Memberships are available.
