Our Programs
We provide 24/7 residential care in a warm, home-like setting that provides stability, love, and hope. Our campus includes five foster homes to serve youth up to 18 years old and two homes for young adults ages 18-23.
When placement with relatives or family friends isn’t possible, A Kid’s Place provides a safe, stable, and nurturing environment that feels like home, where siblings can stay together, healing begins, and kids can simply be kids again.
Care Through Every Stage
From daily care to education, life skills, and beyond — our programs are designed to meet each child’s unique needs at every stage of their journey.
Residential Care
We provide 24/7 residential care in a warm, home-like setting that provides stability, love and hope.
An individualized care plan is created to meet the social, educational, medical, and psychological needs of every child. From consistent meals to birthday parties and summer outings, we create joyful moments and lasting memories.
Education Program
Our education team creates tailored academic plans that meet children where they are and help them grow.
With help from our on-site teachers and tutors we provide instruction to support diverse learning styles and paces, allowing each child in our care to have the tools they need for personal growth and academic success.
House Parent Model
Our House Parent Model allows children in foster care to begin to heal from the trauma they have endured with live-in house parents who provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing home.
This family-oriented approach includes: family-styled meals, game nights, and attending school events. Modeling healthy relationships helps children rebuild trust and focus on being children, rather than caretakers.
Independent Living Program
Through independent living skill development, youth (ages 13 and up) learn essential life skills based on their stage in life and individualized care plan.
With one-on-one mentoring and a variety of hands-on classes, teens learn about: personal health and hygiene, cooking, financial literacy, job readiness, and more. These lessons help build confidence and prepare them for adulthood step by step.
Extended Foster Care (EFC) & Postsecondary Education Services and Support (PESS)
For young adults ages 18–23, our EFC and PESS homes offer a bridge between foster care and full independence.
With continued support, this next phase gives them a space to practice real world skills and make mistakes in a safe environment, learning how to live without constant supervision and feel confident to maneuver their way into adulthood.
