In our multi-tenant solution we use partitions in Apache Kafka to separate data for each tenant. To process events from a specific partition (aka tenant) and stream them into a tenant specific destination (KQL database in this case), it would be nice if it is possible to subscribe to a specific partition when configuring an Apache Kafka datasource in an eventstream.   Today it is mandatory to do 'Event processing before ingestion' and use transformations to filter tenant specific events and route them to the tenant specific KQL database. When you can subscribe to a specific partition, it becomes possible to use 'Direct ingestion' instead. ... Server-Sent Events (SSE) is a highly popular and rapidly growing protocol particularly for applications requiring one-way, real-time data streaming from server to client.   This is a nice addition to the HTTP connection source as offered at this moment. The SSE protocol built-in auto-reconnection with a 'last received message id' makes it easy to offer disconnects without message loss.   We see SSE also being offered by Azure IoT Operations so there is knowledge with Microsoft on how to set this up efficiently. ... Azure EventHub to Fabric Eventstream Connection should be authenticated via RBAC roles. Currently it only supports Shared Access Key authentication which requires manual management of Keys. Please add support for Managed Identity–based authentication so that EventStream can align with Microsoft’s Safe Secrets and keyless authentication best practices. The Fabric Map item was released in preview in Q3 of 2025. One of the things we've noticed, is that custom coloring of shapes is not possible. Currently only data themes supplied by Microsoft can be choosen. We want to be able to add colors to the GeoJSON shape properties and be able to assign these colors as shape coloring, ovewriting a selected data theme. This can be fill colors, outline colors, text colors, etc.   The colors of the provinces in the map below are now defined by the Data theme.   In the data layer settings un Polygon settings, there should be possibilities to assign properties to shape colors. Revision: Be able to enable OneLake Availability on the follower so the business users can enable it as well as inherit the permissions from the follower rather than the primary.     Problem: Currently, downstream consumers who need to query Eventhouse data via Lakehouse shortcuts must have read access to the primary Eventhouse tables. This creates two main challenges: Security / Governance: Users can access the primary Eventhouse, which may not be desirable. Operational Overhead: Teams must schedule incremental .export commands for each table to provide Lakehouse access, which is cumbersome and difficult to manage at scale.   Proposed Solution: Introduce a feature that allows Eventhouse to automatically export data to Lakehouse shortcuts without requiring users to have read access to the primary tables.
