Dear Yuletide Writer

First off, you're awesome. Like, seriously awesome. Like, there haven't been words invented yet to sufficiently and accurately describe your awesomeness. No matter what you do, I will love it.

If you want to get a feel for the kind of stuff I write (which is basically the kind of stuff I like to read), here's my Fic Masterlist. In general, I like character insight, vivid imagery, and wordplay. Porn is awesome, but not a requirement. But, y'know, if you wanted to write porn, don't feel like you have to hold back or anything. I'm extremely sex-positive and kink-friendly. (No scat or mpreg, though. Those are the only things I really can't get into.)

To repeat the signups for emphasis: Optional means optional. I'm trying to give you a couple of guidelines, if you want them, but if your mind runs somewhere else entirely? Go for it, man! Like I said, NO MATTER WHAT I will love what you write!

Onto the requests! These are listed in the order of my signup, not in order of preference. I have no preference. Write me ANY of these things, and I will be unspeakably thrilled. I tried to be spoiler-free, unless you already know what you're looking at.

Haywire (2011)
Movie. Of. My Heart. To copy-paste from my original response to the film:

Mallory Kane is a female action hero the likes of which I have never seen before. At any given time, she is not just the only woman in the room, but she is the most competent, the most clever, and the deadliest person in the room. Anyone who cast aspersions or has doubts about her because of her gender learns a very decisive lesson about why they shouldn't do that. She is confident in herself, her identity, her abilities, her sexuality, and she owns every single inch of it. She isn't seduced by Aaron (Channing Tatum), rather, she saw something she wanted and went for it. SO MUCH RESPECT FOR THAT. She's not helpless, she's not dependent on anyone, though neither does she hesitate to call for help when she needs it.
So. Yeah. I'm a big fan of Mallory. Write her like that, and you can pretty much do ANYTHING else. I love the relationship between her and her dad, and would love to see it explored further. John is a badass in his own right, and I'd love anything exploring his character. Is he a single father? How does he feel about Mallory's career choices (other than proud as hell, which is obvious. :D)?

But Mallory. Yes. Pair her with someone or don't. Anything is awesome. Though I can't help wondering what would happen if Scott ran into her again... That poor kid.

I would also like to know more about Paul, you know, his side of the story. It's clear he made some MASSIVE incorrect assumptions about Mallory, and I'm curious if that's all down to misogyny (which it may well be), or if there was something that gave him the idea that she was weaker than she is. If you wanted to write Paul/Kenneth, where Kenneth is all fucked up on the rebound and muddled by thoughts of revenge or possibly a flashback where they've worked together before and maybe Paul had to be the arm candy for some reason and had his reasons for going along with it... well, that would also be pretty awesome. ^_^

Shame (2011)
I really loved this movie, but I couldn't help but think that parts of it were woefully underexplored. I felt at times that a much more interesting movie was happening just parallel to this one; that Cissy's story was so much more shocking and awful than Brandon's, and I would like to see it. I feel like, while Brandon is incapable of sexual relations with someone he genuinely cares about, that Cissy went the opposite way, and is incapable of showing her love without a sexual component. What happened to them that made them this way? How are Cissy's actions going to affect Brandon from now on? You began to see a shift at the end of the film, but was it really change?

All of the sibling fic. ALL of it. Incest is go, explicit sex (if you can get there) is totally go. Mindfuck, kink, angst, self-harm... Go as far as you want to with these two. I promise I will be right there with you.

Looper (2012)
This is not a time-travel movie. This is a multi-verse movie. As such, I choose to interpret it as an open canon. Do you feel the same way? Do you wonder how the futures being created by Old Joe's actions differ from the future he left? How Joe's actions in the present change the person he would become/Old Joe's motivations (which I know is explored in the film but can always be done MORE)? What else might've closed the loop in a way that DOESN'T result in the end of the world? Man, I wonder a lot of things about this universe. What's Abe's deal (other than he's awesome)? I want to know more about him. Kid Blue? Seth, oh man, that poor fucker. Anything with Sara and Cid, past, present and/or future. Anything with Joe, Old or not, and why he does the things he does. Was a happy ending for everyone ever a possibility? Was the ending we got actually THE happy ending? So many universes...

Man, I feel like I'm articulating this one especially badly. You saw the movie, Awesome Writer of Awesome. I hope you can parse some kind of meaning out of any of this. Anything you write is going to be great. I have faith in you. :D

Eastwick (TV)
God, I still miss my trashy witch show. If you want to write me Eastwick, then you're probably the kind of person who doesn't object to kinky coven group sex. At least, I hope not, because I would REALLY love that. Get Darryl in there with Roxie, Joanna, and Kat. Hell yes. I would also love Darryl/Roxie, Darryl/Roxie/Chad (OT3 of my heart), Joanna/Will, Joanna/Penny, Joanna/Kat, Joanna/Kat/Roxie, Darryl/anybody... Basically porn. Crazy, kinky porn. If you don't want to write porn, that's okay, too. There are some pretty awesome characters and friendships in this series, and I didn't get enough of ANY of them. So write what you want to explore/know more about, and I'll love reading it. ^_^

Also, hey, remember that time Darren Criss was Roxie's daughter's boyfriend and nobody knew who he was yet? Hilarious. :D
